Music by O. Resphigi, choreography by S. Chowning, and dress rehearsal last week (June 4, 2010) on the slipperiest stage - EVER.
This is thirty seconds of what is probably my favorite piece of music by Resphigi. It was used by Agnes de Mille when she choreographed Three Virgins and A Devil.
In this case, it is true that a bad dress rehearsal equals a good performance, but there is no poor-quality cell phone video from the balcony of that. :D

ReplyDeleteI am the first on the right when we begin to bouree into two lines. These arent my usual peers and some of them were almost 20 but it was so much fun.
ReplyDeleteWow! That looks amazing! So professional...
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. I am so impressed.
Haha Hannah, that is so nice of you to say but we were SO bad in that clip. For the actual performance the following night we had to wet the platforms of our shoes because the stage was not good for dancing on pointe.
ReplyDeletethis video shows the first time that ALL 7 of us danced this piece together - yesss, at dress rehearsal (!) - that was unusual. The performance was much better though. And thank you!! :)
